GGS Knockout Rules

The match will be played of ¾ of the difference between the two handicaps of the members playing ie....

Player 1 has a handicap 10

Player 2 has a handicap 16

The difference is 6 (¾ of 6 =4) player 2 receives 4 shots only.

It is the responsibility of both players in the draw to contact each other and agree on the time and date to play the match.

If this cannot be agreed within the agree timescale then this should be reported to the Knockout Organiser, (which may result in both players being withdrawn from the knockout or another time slot given). 

If agreed by both players the match can be played anywhere, but if no agreement can be found then the match will be played at Allestree Park or Sinfin Golf Club.

It is the responsibility of the winner of the match to ensure that the knockout Organiser is informed of the outcome of the match before the time deadline.

Not informing the Organiser of the outcome of the played match, or not playing the match before or by the agreed date may result in one or both players being withdrawn from the next round.
